Anne hoffmann (PHD)

Short Bio. Anne completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany), followed by a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University (NL). After obtaining her PhD in Neuroscience from UCLouvain (Belgium), she joined the Somatosensation & Gargalesis lab at the Donders Institute as a postdoc in September 2024.

Research. Anne’s research investigates the role of the cerebellum in the prediction and cancellation of self-tickle and self-generated touch. To this end, she will be combining behavioural experiments with cerebellar ataxia patients, TMS, and computational modelling techniques.
